Calvin Mennyweathers, CHW, HIV-TPC
Community Health Worker

Calvin Mennyweathers was born in Chicago, IL and raised in Bolingbrook, IL, a Chicago suburb, by his adoptive mother until she passed away in 2007. Calvin went back to Chicago to be raised by his extended family through high school. In 2013, Calvin graduated high school from Manley Career Academy on Chicago's west side. Calvin went to college at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL with a major in Graphic Design. After a short time in college, Calvin decided to stay in Carbondale to begin building a lifestyle and career. Calvin spend many years in food service and was at one time promoted to General Manager of a local restaurant. While working in food service, Calvin also began to fuel his interests in photography and graphic design and started his own business which is now known as CM Designs & Photography which is still in operation today with great success and local recognition.

In 2024, Calvin began working in community work at the Little Resource Center which provides diapers, formula, and other needs for local struggling parents in need of support. A short time after that he began working with Rainbow Cafe to assist them as then began working on opening our clinic, Rainbow Community Health & Wellness. Calvin has completed Community Heath Worker training, Trauma-Informed training, as well as HIV Risk-Based Testing training. Calvin currently works as an HIV Testing & Prevention counselor and Community Health Worker at RCHW.
