Behavioral Health Program Coordinator

Freddy Siglar is a current graduate student at Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s clinical psychology doctoral program. He specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families. He has spent four years working in clinical and school settings as a clinician and as a behavioral health consultant. He has been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), multicultural counseling, and psychological assessment. He provides individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy.

​I am honored to be completing my internship at RCHW, where I have never felt more welcomed, accepted, and valued. I believe in the inherent beauty, dignity, and worth of every individual and approach mental health care with compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s autonomy.
Rooted in a holistic, trauma-informed, and client-centered framework, my work integrates 25 years of study in cross-cultural spirituality. I incorporate these timeless practices into mental health care to support individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, and the challenges of living authentically in today’s world. My approach emphasizes identifying and strengthening innate resilience, understanding the impact of environmental factors on mental health, and developing personalized, practical tools for healing. 

As an MSW student at SIU-C, I am honored to share in your journey toward greater balance, clarity, and self-acceptance.
